Carmel Winters’ second feature film, Float Like A Butterfly has been described as “A gloriously unruly collision of vivid romanticism and tough, unsentimental truths about the lives and casual discrimination faced by Irish travellers”.
The story revolves around a young Irish Traveller who has to contend with her recently released from prison father in 1960s Ireland in order to pursue her dreams of being a boxer and making her idol Muhammad Ali proud.
