Three nights of Punk Rock performed by bands from the U.S, U.K and Ireland prove that punk is back but did it really ever go away? It’s a great topic over a few beers in the local but these three nights certainly prove that it has never been in a healthier state since the glory days of 1977.
The big draw is bound to be Ruts D.C who’s 1979 top ten hit single ‘Babylon’s Burning’ is a bona fide classic of the genre along with their brilliant reggae infused singles ‘Jah War’ and ‘Staring At The Rude Boys’.
Culture Shock, The Upstarts, The Gakk, Paranoid Visions and The Vulpynes are among a hoard of great bands playing so sugar soap up the mohawk and get moshing.
