Peter Gordon’s new exhibition stems from spending much of the various lockdown months on the South Wall or walking on the adjacent sand as the tide dropped, trying to create a new and unique collection of images. Something that reflected the calm that the escape brought. Sunrise after sunrise the wall was deserted bar some brave winter swimmers and the occasional photographer.
“I wanted to experience the tide in every position, the sun from every direction. The full plethora of emotions and moods. Being there on my own. On the concrete or on the sand, in the salt. Always feeling the serenity.”
Runs until November 27, open daily: 10am-6pm, Sunday: 11am-4pm
