A free exhibition showcasing the posters that graphic designers Kevin Scally and Brendan Foreman made for various Abbey Theatre productions throughout the 1970s and ‘80s is currently running at the National Print Museum.
Scally and Foreman’s work quickly became stand-out features in Dublin City’s landscape as they revitalised the concept of how creative promotional posters could look through eye-catching, inspired, and colourful illustrations, whose influence can be seen in the advertising of events big and small to this day.
