Pandemme is a pop-up exhibition of contemporary art opened in response to the Covid pandemic. The closure of local shop Emme during the summer saddened the close-knit community around Dublin 6. Now local artists will occupy the space at 36 Dunville and transform it into Pandemme, a gallery to showcase their recent work. Come and meet the artists and learn about their work: Monika Crowley, Margot Galvin (lead image), Mary O’Connor, Serena Caulfield, Dan Henson, and jewellery designer Suzanne Rogers.
‘Whilst some shows are lucky to have gone ahead this year, others have closed as soon as they opened. Galleries have done a great job in using social media to keep our work out there, but with restrictions lifting this week we’re hoping the community take the opportunity to come and meet us and help support the arts’ says Crowley, ‘but more than that, it’s our opportunity to shake off the uncertainty and anxiety of 2020 and give two fingers to the pandemic”.
Pandemme is open on 36 Dunville Avenue until Christmas Eve, from 9am-6pm daily
