Formed in 2012, the contemporary classical group was made up of students from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Kirkos have evolved to encompass increasingly experimental, improvisational and collaborative projects merging theatre and the visual arts. They also have a new base, Unit 44 which formed part of the cover story in our May issue. Now turning 10, they are hosting eight free events over four days promising everything from Fluxus Open Mics and music for zippers to brand new music by some of Ireland’s most exciting composers.
