Island Life is a summer group exhibition showcasing the work of both emerging and established painters. Its purpose is to celebrate the current painting climate in Ireland. The artwork displayed in this exhibition attempts to address the human condition through delicate brushstrokes, demonstrating that paint can express both the personal and universal.
Featuring work by Sonia Shiel, Kathy Tynan, Marcel Vidal, Mark Swords, Salvatore of Lucan, Joe Scullion, Robert Armstrong, Julia Dubsky, Lesley-Ann O’Connell, Pat Byrne, Stephen Loughman, Cecilia Danell, William O’Neill, and Stephanie Deady.
