Electronic Sheep was established in 1998 by NCAD alumni and multi-disciplinary artists Brenda Aherne and Helen Delany. The duo’s distinct approach comprises drawings and typographic jacquards based on narrative storylines based on their personal lives and professional practices.
Their approach sees them regularly working with artists, historians and activists, often to the benefit of social initiatives and charitable agencies. This makes them the ideal guests for the current series of talks at The RHA referencing many of the initial values of the academy, such as community, collectivity and belonging to a group, in looking at new models of artist collectives or communities of interest.
Free. RHA 5.30pm – 6.30pm Wednesday February 14th. Further details here.
