Dublin Digital Radio are running a special event this Saturday called ddr. Dabke. In a slight deviation from their usual parties, this event will include spoken word artists, beatboxing and political speakers alongside DJs. The lineup is made up of Palestinian and Arab artists and takes place on the same night as Eurovision, as an alternative to its indefensible platforming of Israel.
The lineup includes DJ Karmwai, Sumsinez, Abood Aladham, Myrna al Tajuri and Amir Abualrob as well as speakers from Action for Palestine Ireland and Dublin for Gaza.
The event takes place this Saturday, May 11th from 10pm in Mono’s Bar at Bohs in Phibsboro. Tickets are priced at €10, with a €15 option for those who wish to donate extra. Proceeds will be donated to Gaza relief and solidarity efforts. Please support if you can.
