Unbeknownst to each other, artists Stephen Burke and Ronan Dillon have been creating work inspired by uninhibited mark making – capturing specific narratives of the city and countryside. And as a result, distinct parallels have emerged between both of their practices, despite differing concepts and aesthetic elements.
Driving on a Sponge marks a two-man show which “will explore themes of freedom, human and animal vandalism, and speed.” We’re assuming speed relates to the rural road donut variety.
