Dance to the Underground, the only queer punk rock and roll night in Ireland is celebrating Pride bringing a bigger event celebrating PRIDE with DJs, rock’n’roll drag queen show, photo exhibition and live band.
“We’re so happy to have the Dublin Pride support so we’re able to put a bigger show together. We needed a safe space where the alternative queer people in Dublin could meet, enjoy themselves and dance! We’re thrilled with our community feedback. That’s what motivates us to keep going!”, shared the organisers and DJs RodFibula and RobTibia.
The Punk Queer Pride Edition will kick off with the photo exhibition “Dancing in the underground” by the non-binary Dublin based artist Azure. Followed by live show of the Irish punk rock duo Vulpynes.
One of the main attractions, the only rock’n’roll drag queen show in Ireland led by the Irish Drag Queens Coco Ri and Lavender will be joined by the Cork Queen, Krystal Queer and the Dublin queens Nokia and ÉireComme. The punk queens will perform rock’n’roll, punk and heavy metal anthems and they have got surprises for the audience.
