Darren J. Cunningham is a British electronic musician, who uses the pseudonym Actress. Defying easy categorisation his sets span everything through Detroit techno, hip-hop, electro as well as dub, jungle and rave. He comes to town off the back of Dummy Corporation, the first Actress EP since 2014.
“I create these sketches, essentially like the fabrics, and I collage them together.” The opener is 20 minutes twisting beast with white noise and low-key synth washes hustling with acid house.
