Sean Rainbird is a Historian and Museum Director, having held roles as Director of the National Gallery of Ireland (2012–2022); Senior Curator at Tate and Director of Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. He has edited and written several major publications on the work of artists Max Beckman, Joseph Beuys and Sean Scully.
Keynote speech by Dr. Clare McAndrew
Dr. Clare McAndrew is the founder of Arts Economics, a Dublin-based research and consulting firm, established in 2005, that works with international art fairs, dealers, trade associations, auction houses, and national and transnational public institutions. She has published widely on the economics of the art market, including her book entitled Fine Art and High Finance, published by Wiley Press. She also produced an annual macro-economic report on the global art market for The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF) from 2005 to 2015. Since 2016, this annual global research on the art market has been produced for Art Basel and UBS. The Art Market, An Art Basel & UBS Report is the industry’s benchmark report on all of the major trends in the global market for art and antiques.
