Jacqueline Logan writes…

“My name is Jacqueline Logan, I am Australian and have lived in Portobello for more than 24 years. I am very much interested in the history of the area I live and been involved in local community initiatives such as collecting rubbish along the canal and local resident groups. I am a full-time carer to my wonderful husband who has an acquired brain injury and in 2020 my husband and I moved into a Council complex on Charlemont Mall overlooking the canal. This has led to a rekindling of my love of photography. There are currently photo boards by the canal at Charlemont – these photos were taken by one photographer. I think it would be nice if other photographers, particularly locals, could be used for these photo boards. I am sending you on some of my photos, would welcome anyone who might be interested to check out my instagram and look forward to hearing about new initiatives for the canals.” @dublincityjacq
