Few producers wrestle so tirelessly with boundaries and grey areas as Untold, or Jack Dunning as he is more casually known. Starting out with a similar background as the likes of Pearson Sound and Blawan, he has mutated into endlessly weird variations on his original theme. His music, whether for his own Hemlock imprint or any of the other hugely respected labels he has released with, retains the flicker of post-dubstep but only really in the sense that this couldn’t have happened at any time but after dubstep. He brings techno, ambient, industrial and lots more to his mix as well, so you never know where he’s going to go next. In short, one of the most exciting “bass” producers in the world right now.
