Popular restaurant Coppinger Row is supporting the arts in the lead up to Christmas this year with the launch of the Coppinger Row Christmas Art Market, a colourful festive pop-up collaboration involving creative lifestyle brand At HOME Style and five of the city’s most exciting up and coming artists.
Located next door to the buzzing Coppinger Row restaurant, the Christmas Art Market will showcase a unique selection of hand-made, locally produced items, perfect for those last minute seasonal gifts.
There’s something to suit everyone, with a unique selection of beautiful Irish made products including scent-sational handmade candles, luxurious blankets and an impressive collection of original prints and artworks.
Feast your eyes on works from makers including fine artist Leah Hewson, whose popular creations continue to be internationally collected by public and private collectors alike.
The market also features distinctively colourful, original art pieces by painters Conor Bereen and Duda, alongside stunning stills by photographer Patricio Cassinoni and eye-catching pop art by street artist and filmmaker Kurb Junki.
This is also a great opportunity to pick up a nice selection of creative Irish-made homeware and gifts from new Irish lifestyle brand At HOME Style, launched earlier this year by founders Eileen Denham, Sinead Bailey Kelly and Deirdre Young.
Check out their wonderful soy wax scented candles, hand poured in Ireland, including a limited edition Mulled Wine candle, summoning the spirit of Christmas past, with scents of cranberries, berries, orange zest and subtle spices.
So if you haven’t yet got started on that Christmas list, why not drop into Coppinger Row for a taste of Christmas cheer, then meander next door for a stroll around the market? Meet the makers, soak up some seasonal atmosphere, and bag yourself a nice selection of creative Irish-made gifts.
Coppinger Row Christmas Art Market will run every Wednesday-Sunday in the lead up to Christmas (12 noon to 8 pm). The market is located next door to Coppinger Row restaurant, off William Street, Dublin 2.
