“Fashion passes, style remains” is the rather splendid motto of the late Coco Chanel and also the theme of the 2017 edition of the Franco-Irish Literary Festival.
Spread across the Lighthouse Cinema, Dublin Castle and HQ at Alliance Française (March 31 – April 2), this 18th edition features an exhibition of Yves St Laurent by Irish artist Reginald Gray, the premiere of L’Idéal with director Frédéric Beigbeder in attendance. He’s known as a bit of an enfant terrible back home by the way.
There’s also a day of panel discussion spanning ‘Forging Fashion, Narratives of Fashion and Tomorrow’s Wardrobe’ and contributions from Marina Carr, Dermot Bolger and Rory O’Neill.
