The welcoming blue building in the heart of Temple Bar, Project Arts Centre, will come alive with dance with two critically acclaimed performances, a vibey hip hop jam, and a neuro-inclusive club night that’s redefining the future of nightlife.
Trailblazing choreographer and director of the renowned Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Boris Charmatz (France) brings his dreamlike yet powerfully physical solo SOMNOLE to DDF’s 21st Edition. Accompanied only by the sound of his own whistling, Charmatz draws audiences into the intimate, dreamlike realm between wakefulness and sleep. With a compelling performance of extreme physicality, there are moments of intensity, calm and humour as Charmatz explores the tension between the mind’s longing for stillness and its restless motion.
