After a successful debut, Innovation Fest returns for a sophomore year. Innovation Fest is a collaboration between Creative Dublin Alliance and the Dublin City Council. The aim to is to discuss, promote and celebrate innovation in the city, on any level from student blogger to corporate behemoth. The festival takes the form of a series of exhibitions, tours, performances, workshops and talks running from November 10th to 21st in venues spanning the length and breadth of the city.
These range from tours showing the technology utilized in An Post’s Mail Centre and Dublin City Councils Traffic Control Room (one can only imagine what goes on in there) to to exhibitions of Green Technology in Trinity’s Science Gallery and Q&A sessions with entrepreneurs in UCD.
A highlight will be Long Debate – focusing on the report put together by Brian Cowen’s Innovation Taskforce. The debate will feature a host of key contributors and commentators giving their point of view at the NDRC in the Digital Hub.
