Following the success of its first instalment TBG&S’s book fair will return this November with another weekend-long event dedicated to the art book.
Although the fair will showcase a healthy selection of publications from established institutions, the event equally offers a platform to little-known independent publishers of critical writing, comicbooks and ‘zines.
The craft value of the handmade artist books sees the bound page transform into compact artwork, but not encased in glass vitrines, visitors can pick up and thumb through the selection before handing over cash.
A series of seminars and talks promise to peek behind the cover of the art book world offering an insight into the realisation of these publications.
