Hopeful artists submit their works to the RHA Gallery every year in a bid to have their work selected for the gallery’s prestigious annual exhibition which guarantees wider exposure, and the prospect of selling their work.
There are now just a few days left for submissions of work for the 194th RHA Annual Exhibition. The prestigious exhibition, which boasts a prize fund of over €50,000 across disciplines, will open at the RHA Gallery on Monday 20 May and run until Sunday 4 August, 2024.
The RHA is currently accepting submissions for this year’s show from visual artists working across the following mediums: paint, drawing, print, sculpture, photography and architecture. Works outside these categories will not be accepted.
With sales exceeding €850,000 in 2023, the Annual is Ireland’s largest open submission exhibition, and as such is a critical event in the art calendar for public and private buyers of all levels.
Submission is by online entry only and the entry deadline is on Sunday 25th February. Entry pricing for a first or single entry is €20.00, with additional entries costing €20.00. A maximum of three artwork entries are permitted.
Following the submission deadline, the next stage sees entries selected from the digital application, with successful artists subsequently asked to deliver work to RHA for further consideration and possible inclusion in the exhibition.
Ireland’s largest open submission exhibition will run from Monday, 20th May until Monday, 5th August, at the RHA Gallery.
