HALFTONE – Dublin’s Fresh New Print Fair Turns Ten!

Posted 1 month ago in Arts & Culture Features

A celebration of printed matter in all its forms, HALFTONE is an initiative by PhotoIreland, hosted every November at Ireland’s Art Bookshop, The Library Project.

The fair brings together a large selection of works by established and emerging artists, showcasing Ireland’s exciting Art scene.

HALFTONE is the ideal place to get to grips with a diversity of printing techniques while discovering new work for your collection or finding an excellent present.

It is a great opportunity to purchase fantastic artworks at enviable prices, ranging from as low as €6 into more serious prices of €5000 and up.

Since the book fair was first established in 2015, PhotoIreland has raised over €87,000 for artists through HALFTONE, supporting and promoting the practice of over 700 participating artists to date, shipping their work internationally, and contributing to public and private collections.

Artworks are available to browse and buy in-person at The Library Project and online at halftone.ie

This year sees HALFTONE presents 72 artists and 185 artworks including Amy O’Riordan, Berta Mars, Billy Woods, Cáit Fahey, Dervla Clarke, Diego Fabro, Ian Kelly, Irene Whyte, Ishmael Claxton, Joanne Betty Conlon, Nathan Lowry,  Lorcan Cassidy, Louis Scully, Martina Moloney, Niamh Quigley, Przemek Zimowski, Rafal Krol, and David Willis.

The 10th edition of HALFTONE Print Fair runs at The Library Project, 4 Temple Bar Street, D02YK53, Dublin until December 3rd. Go see!
