Sign Crushes Motorist is a slowcore-influenced project of Northern Irish artist Liam McCay, who is 18 years-old. Yes, you read that right. Liam has two albums out to date – 2022’s I’ll Be Ok and 2023’s – Hurting. Inspired by the work of U.S. outfit Duster, McCay’s warm, lo-fi sound has found acclaim via TikTok trends like “corecore” or “nichetok”.
