Rumer – Seasons Of My Soul

Posted December 1, 2010 in Music Reviews

Rumer’s debut album, Seasons Of My Soul, represents the closest the pop music of 2010 has come to that heady, uncool hi-fi pop of yore and is all the more marvelous for it. Come To Me High and Slow are impossibly smooth, if they were people they’d be Bryan Ferry and Roger Moore. If she keeps churning out top-notch sophisto-pop like this, a lengthy and prosperous career is guaranteed. Pass the cigars, Roger.
