We were delighted to see the return of one of our favourite Dublin Gastro Pubs as The Legal Eagle finally came back home to roost on Chancery Place last month.
The doors opened in early September to reveal an outstanding dinner menu featuring snacks such as homemade crisps, and oven-roasted mixed nuts seasoned with Chinese 5-spice.
In the midst of a gorgeous choice of small plates, sides and desserts, we’re loving the sound of Curragh caught Irish scallop cooked in shell, with burnt chili butter, cucumber, chervil and lemon. Larger plates include succulent Woodfired Half Chicken, and stunning Whole-Roasted Fish, with lemon, thyme, tomato, chimichurri, and prawn oil.
Their new lunchtime menu is set to launch next week, as the new legal term gets into its stride, with the fillings of their gorgeous handmade pies yet to be uncovered.
We can’t wait to cross the threshold and fill our beaks at this Liffey-side gem in the coming weeks.
