Third Space Café in Smithfield is the venue for an exciting evening celebrating the culinary joys of Italy this month. Hosted by Italian Food and Wine in Ireland, the salubrious event is billed as ‘Savoury, Sweet and Wine’, and affords those wishing to learn more about the regional tastes of Italy an opportunity to savour some of that country’s finest vinos and delicacies.
Showcasing a variety of flavours from around the country, treats on the night include a delicious array of cold cuts, such as Salumi and Pecorino Cheese with Honey, alongside a selection of wines including fresh, crisp, Morellino di Scansano from Tuscany.
There’s also a chance to enjoy a number of traditional Italian desserts, including almond flavoured Cantuccini dipped in delicate, intense, Vin Santo and rich Panforte from the city of Siena.
The event takes place at 6.30pm on Tuesday February 18th. Tickets including food and drinks cost €30, with a limited number on sale via Eventbrite.
