Another festival on the comeback trail is Irish Design Week which returns with aplomb. The tentpole name is Bruce Mau, the Canadian designer and educator who began his career as a graphic designer and since applied his design methodology to architecture, art, museums, film, eco-environmental design, education, and conceptual philosophy.
Other notable events include the Opening of IDI ReJOYce – an exhibition of 50 years of Irish Design and a Grand Stuff: Label Art from Ireland lecture in the National Print Museum.
We are also proud to be part of the festival this year and are hosting an event ‘Designing for Dining’ in note on the Tuesday where we will be joined by our Digested Digest contributor chef Cúán Greene and designer Acky Fakhry among others to discuss considerations in the field of food.
Monday November 14 to Friday November 18
