Forest bathing emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a physiological and psychological exercise called shinrin-yoku (“taking in the forest atmosphere”). The purpose was twofold: to offer an eco-antidote to burnout and to inspire residents to reconnect with and protect the country’s forests. Now Aurora Procopio is bringing us to the forest with a recent series of experiences in the Furry Glen in the Phoenix Park. She leads a walk followed by a slow, gentle mindful movement practice. She will offer a number of ‘invitations’ which will help you to deeply connect with Nature. Just don’t confuse them with some of the traditional Furry Glen invitations.
