Next Exit is a photographic project by Liam Murphy, a contributor to our pages over the years, that documents the countrywide phenomenon of unauthorised roadside advertising.
Shot on 120 negative film, Next Exit captures the banal and the bizarre of this rogue form of advertising, and includes signage featuring an otter, some spice bags and Jesus Christ.
Inspired and informed by the road well travelled you can follow the journey via an Instagram series designed by our Richard Seabrooke who files a monthly Design column for us.
