Avoiding the first wave of reopens, it’s heartening to see firm favourites of ours such as The Big Romance and Anseo cautiously opening their doors again. While the Romance pivoted to being a Bottle shop, Anseo shut up shop.
Drop by The Big Romance for a Belfast coffee created by their neighbours at 1661. It uses Bán Poitín, cold brew coffee and demerara sugar with a cream head and sprinkle of nutmeg.
They will be announcing some Live Performance Support Scheme shindigs in the coming weeks too. (There seems to be a logjam of events being rolled out at the moment with certain names appearing again and again, indicating a degree of laziness on the booking front).
Meanwhile, Anseo is adding the essential Bloody Mary to its Sunday mix.
