Are you interested in German language and culture? Do you enjoy sharing cultural experiences and discovering new things?
Then #ThinkGerman – Days of German Language is for you!
An exciting new initiative from the Goethe-Institut Irland, #ThinkGerman invites you to promote your love of the German language and culture in Ireland with an individual event celebrating your curiosity in all things German.
There are many fun ways to get involved; whether it’s cooking up traditional favourites such as chicken schnitzel, apple strudel or currywurst, organising your own DIY Oktoberfest or sharing a love of German through sound and vision in the company of such luminaries as Marlene Dietrich, Michael Fassbender and Bertolt Brecht.
A little creativity goes a long way; so why not get involved in organising your own event or sharing and exploring all facets of German culture and language?
The Goethe-Institut Irland is encouraging all institutions (kindergartens, educational institutes, companies, clubs, libraries, etc.) across the island of Ireland to get involved in what promises to be a terrific celebration of German language and culture throughout the week of October 2nd – 9th.
