The best way would be to find a workshop that’s happening so you can get some hands on teaching with an expert before you go out on your own, but failing that I would recommend a trip out to Dublin Art Glass to buy your tools and materials.
They also have lots of books there that you can learn from with patterns that you can use to get yourself started.
Although Ireland’s stained glass community is very small, America has a huge community of hobbyists and professionals alike who have uploaded hundreds of tutorial videos online, and these are great for getting the basics.
And once you know each step in the process it’s all practice after that.
