Anything you do is busking if you ask for money.
Knowing how to busk is knowing why to busk. People always ask, “Why are you doing this?” and depending on if we want their money or their love we sing, “Because this is where I want to be, this is where I need to be…” or “We’re not doing it for the love of it, we’re just doing it for the cash.” Both songs will be available by the end of 2020 for €50 each.
Knowing how to busk is knowing people. Spenders, lovers, haters, melters, winkers, mingers and dingers all deserve different songs.
Last but not least, you must cultivate and maintain a nurturing, heartfelt relationship with the Gardaí. Taking this step not only allowed us to collaborate with a few Garda rappers but also afforded us a marked improvement in our personal safety. Respect The Gardaí.
