Peter Broderick is scandalously underrated. He’s not the first musician to fall foul of unfair obscurity, but it still baffles us how the wind which set sail to his Erased Tapes labelmates — Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds — has blown with far less gusto for him. We first caught him playing with our favourite Danes, Efterklang around the time of the release of Parades. Nowadays, Broderick is married and living out West with folk musician Brigid Mae Power. His 2017 release All Together Again is spell-bindingly beautiful. We have no excuse not to embrace him and ensure he’s on the line-up for the likes of Other Voices and Another Love Story in future editions. Support from Landless.
