Phantastic Ferniture

Phantastic Ferniture

[Transgressive Records]

If you were bowled over by Julia Jacklin’s pop-rock debut from two years ago; then her new side-project, Phantastic Ferniture, will tickle your fancy until you’re hysterical.

Maintaining similar tonal aspects heard in her previous output, these nine songs are further amplified by enveloping guitar hooks (Uncomfortable Teenager), earworm harmonies (Fuckin ‘N’ Rollin) and an overall feeling that the band enjoyed every riff.

While there are some dips towards the end, this album will certainly stand out in Jacklin’s career.

It’s fun, fresh and phantastic.
