Lady Gaga’s most recent release Born This Way is the sort of song you would disregard as background noise and assume it was the Saturdays or some other lyrically incompetent tinny band with female leads, however, I gave it my full attention much to my dissatisfaction and couldn’t help making the comparison between this and Madonnas very well known express yourself, the only difference I suppose, is that Lady Gaga threw in the left over ‘dubstep’ from Britney Spears’ latest track too.
I did however overhear some ditsy, slightly patronizing lyrics meant to ’empower’, directed at the different sub cultures and minority groups out there in the hopes no doubt that this track will become an anthem for every ‘chola’ and ‘beige’ person out there, ridiculous.
