Mother’s Tankstation Limited, the Usher’s Island-based gallery whose exhibitions programme continues to be one of the most daring and electric out there, is launching a new space in London this month.
Mother’s Tankstation Project is at Morley House, 26 Holborn Viaduct, EC1, and launches to coincide with Frieze week.
While the gallery, with its roster of internationally-acclaimed artists, has always held international exhibitions in the past, opening a new space is terra incognita.
It is, however, consistent with its founding idea that exhibitions held in a physical space is ‘the crucial, continuing, and exciting future of contemporary art.’
