You’d be forgiven for thinking that we’re getting ahead of ourselves talking about the famous Munich Beer Fest this month, but it seems the bulk of the festivities now take place earlier than they used to, in ‘hoppy’ anticipation of more clement weather.
So September really is the new Oktober(fest).
The Liffey-side fest capably holds its own on the pils, bier and lederhosen front, with hours of fun to be had burning off unwanted calories at the fairground’s shiny new Hau den Lukas.
