Gregory Dunn moved to Dublin in 1990 and Here represents his photographic documentation of this city he calls home since around 2005.
His point-and-shoot approach delivers images which capture the unvarnished quotidian of city life.
There’s horses, sacred hearts, bingo halls and Canadian Geese, a psycho geography of his inner city surrounds.
Dunn’s “penchant for the unconsidered” also has him questioning his knowledge of places and related anecdotes but these never take from the main picture. (See In The Frame in this month’s print edition of Totally Dublin)
