It’s been a great summer so far for those interested in the food on offer at the various music festivals around the country, but food itself takes centre-stage this month.
For those who fancy a weekend skite, the Enniscorthy-based Rockin’ Food Festival takes place over the bank holiday weekend, while oyster lovers will be converging on the medieval town of Carlingford for the annual oyster festival (August 11th – 14th).
As the year moves inexorably towards Autumn, all roads lead to Stradbally in September for the food-loving daddy of them all, the Theatre of Food at the Electric Picnic curated by John and Sally McKenna.
