The duo that brought you Open Water (Kentis & Lau) return with this nail biting claustrophobic horror. Unlike Open Water this film takes the more conventional horror setup – the haunted house – but with the added twist of being shown in real time.
Rising star Olsen, (younger sister of the famous twins) who has proven herself a formidable force of acting with her perfromance in Martha Marcy May Marlene, once again steps up to the lead role, this time as young terrified Sarah trapped in her possessed home.
If the first minute of the trailer is anything to go by (that’s as far as my courage lasted) this film, like its watery predecessor, will be an excruciating marathon on the nerves of those brave enough to keep their eyes open.
