MusicTown festival returns for its second year this April 6th to 17th. The festival showcases the vast musical talent and vibrant musical culture of our capital city. MusicTown has joined with 12 Points Festival for one of the more interesting events of the festival at Meeting House Square on April 13th. Reflecting on the debut of Handel’s Messiah in Dublin and looking to the future of music, 17 innovative young musicians will take to the stage over the night, including London quintet WorldService Project, Nordic punk-pop-jazz with Pixel from Oslo and Dublin’s own hip-hop collective, Mixtapes from the Underground. All proceeds from this event will go to the Irish Youth Foundation and the Peter McVerry Trust.
