Fashion and art prove frequent bedfellows — when the former steps away from trend cycles, both sectors share a penchant for compelling craftsmanship — but such fusions are scarcely encountered across this capital…
Cue RHA X, a boundary-blurring series of installations commencing this week. Renowned in their respective fields, Roland Mouret (fashion designer) and Dragana Jurisic (visual artist) have devised a “third space” in which to submerge spectators; the contents of which they remain teasingly tight-lipped about.
With both talents courting global fervour for their inventive artistry, however, there’s no question they’ve conjured up a feast for the senses.
For the sweet sum of €125 (all proceeds head straight to the Royal Hibernian Academy, a registered charity for The Arts in Ireland) you can attend their resplendent gala launch this Friday November 15th, while Mouret and Jurisic will stick around for a Q&A session on Saturday…
