Do you remember those rumours of a few years ago about Ciara being a hermaphrodite? Ok she did look a little butch, she was quite muscly, tall with wide shoulders, well the release of this video is sure going to take those rumours and bury them six feet under. Work is the second international single to be released from Ciara’s third studio album Fantasy Ride. The whole thing is like an extremely extended America’s Next Top Model promotion video, with Ciara and her now slender and Amazonian like limbs being the focal point. Hopping down from a large yellow truck in a plunging neck jumpsuit and a pair of goggle like sunglasses, an atire not quite suitable for work in a quarry, she gets to work on some serious crunk choreography, whilst Missy Elliot screams along at various intervals like she does best. With multiple outfit changes, from a turquoise PVC mini dress and a pair of seriously dodgy cut out boots, to a flowing orange dress while she swings on a cable wire, Ciara is definitely working it, all we need is Miss J to come sashaying out from a bulldozer in a sequined jumpsuit! This song has summer hit written all over it.
