Consider this a recommendation born of morbid curiosity. While we all know what to expect from the reanimated Pixies, few dare speculate with regards to Trinity’s credentials as an outdoor music venue. With The Pixies having long since shed the essential otherness that made them so vital in their pomp, there is little hope of life-changing sonic fireworks. That said, Gouge Away et al remain unrepentant bangers and the new Summer Series is undoubtedly an intriguing addition to “festival season”. Support from Fangclub
