To celebrate the installation of the Cubatron as part of Electrik Nights at this weekend’s Metropolis Festival, Absolut have a pair of tickets to give away for Sunday 8th November at the RDS.
As part of Electrik Nights by Absolut, The Serpentine Hall in the RDS will host the Electrik Stage, while the Cubatron and the Absolut Electrik Bar (with an array of special cocktails) will be in the Industries Hall, one of the other major arenas for the inaugural version of the indoor city festival.
The Cubatron is a gigantic light-based installation that’s 40′ x 10′ in size, created by artist Mark Lottor for Burning Man originally, and which has called at Coachellla and a variety of other festivals before making its way to Dublin this weekend.
The line-up on the Electrik Stage on Sunday features two real giants of the game, in the shape of Kerri Chandler and techno pioneer DJ Jeff Mills, while in the main hall there is also the opportunity to catch Chic, Mark Ronson and Giorgio Moroder – the last of whom is also taking part in a talk at the festival.
