Regis

One of the glittering jewels in techno’s dark underbelly, Karl O’Connor has been plumbing the depths of human and machine emotions for almost 20 years. Alongside fellow stalwart Surgeon, O’Connor mixed post-apocalyptic European electronics with a warped take on the legacies of Chicago and Detroit, all with a distinctly British twist. Whether working under the (recently reinstated) name of British Murder Boys with Surgeon or heading up the Downwards and Sandwell District collectives, Regis has always been a name associated with physical and mental adventuring, taking electronic music into shadowy corners and returning with body-shaking beats.
