To coincide with St Patrick’s week of celebrations this year Ireland’s leading Casino & Card Club, The Fitzwilliam in Dublin, is hosting the first gaming event of its kind in Ireland.
Following on from the sold-out Poker Festival last November (which can be seen currently airing on Eirsport), the Fitz has decided to run a Gaming Festival focusing on the games that members play directly against the club itself.
Taking place over four days from March 16th to March 19th the club will be hosting the First Annual Gaming Festival that will be of interest to tourists, members of the club and visitors alike, as players pit their wits and skills against the dealers and the house at the Fitzwilliam.
In honour of the occasion The Fitzwilliam are offering a number of specials and fun events to make the festival enjoyable for all players, including such treats as special visitor packs with free bets, free buffet for all gaming players each night of the festival, “Bring a Friend” specials and cash prize draws on Saturday and Sunday.
Other specials to mark the weekend include a bottle of champagne for hitting certain poker hands, bonus blackjack, Punto Banco specials and double ticket offers on winning the €10k gold bar on display at the club.
The club will also be launching a new game called Casino Wars, so players that weekend can be amongst the first to try the game out at the club.
March 16th is also the official re-launch of the newly renovated gaming floor at the Fitzwilliam with the interior of the club modernised to make it as attractive as possible to members.
The Fitz has promised a few other surprises in store over the four March festival nights, so visitors are invited to call in any night and try their hand at any of the games available.
