Artsdesk: Someone You Love

Posted September 29, 2016 in Arts & Culture Features

On Tuesday 11th October, the Copper House Gallery on Synge Street in Dublin 8 will play host to Someone You Love, an exhibition curated and organised by Aifric Ní Chríodáin. Someone You Love is an exhibition of pro-choice artwork in the form of prints which are for sale at the event. The money raised from the sale of the prints will go to the Abortion Support Network, which is a UK-based charity which helps women in Ireland and Northern Ireland who are forced to travel to access abortion by providing information, accommodation and clinic escorts where needed. Up to 12 Irish women a day travel to access abortions.
